For her latest single ‘Dishonour’, Satnam reimagines Irish folk song ‘She Moved through the Fair’ from the perspective of the woman protagonist in a bid to highlight honour-based abuse. The single is released on 8 March to coincide with International Women’s Day and all proceeds from orders placed between 6 February and 6 April 2026 will be donated to Karma Nirvana, a charity based in Leeds which works to end honour-based abuse in the UK.
Capturing the spaces that inspired them, these field recordings were all written and recorded by HerOrangeCoat out in various woodlands, each in a single day. With thanks to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Knaresborough Forest Park, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Natural England, and Forestry England.
A two-track reworking the traditional song Seasons, based on the singing of Lizzie Higgins and Fiona Ross.
Seasons takes the tune’s wistful awe and draws out more complex emotions. The track is playful and even buoyant in places yet undercut with a more serious concern for seasonal confusion, and the increasing decline of human understanding of nature. Seasons (Climate Breakdown Version) disrupts this further, stretching and releasing the tempo in a chronologically unrecognisable soundscape. Morphing, melding, mourning.
